- high strength alloy hollow shaft 1.580 in OD, 0.750 in ID, 6.50 in long
- 6 stainless 1/4-20 mounting grub screws for mounting to 1.5 in schedule
   40 steel tube for tower
- CR lip seal protects bearing assembly, which fits into turbine body
- bore grooved for keying in cast epoxy plug used for hang-down wires
- assembly can be ordered with slip rings and hang-down wires (#8) attached
- bearings accessible by removing ring clip at top end of shaft
