Blade root

- used to attach airfoil blades to the variable pitch turbine hub
- high strength aluminum alloy 6061 T6
- precision machined to match the contour of the blade airfoil
- precision CNC threaded 3/8-24 hole for attachment to hub bolt
- 10-32 threaded holes for blade attachment, 3 holes per blade
- factory delivered blades and blade roots all have matching three
  hole pattern for fasteners
   (shown with only one hole to see curved part contour clearly)
   (i.e. one reference hole is shown, two more get added)
